6 Dog Mom Must Haves

I have been a dog owner for as long as I can remember. Over the years I have learned what products I can and can’t live without when it comes to raising my fur kids! I am also constantly discovering cool new products to add to my list. I wanted to create this post to have all my must haves (& why I have to have them) in one spot!

  • SUV Cargo Liner this thing has absolutely saved the back of my car! We are always bringing the dogs out and about with us so this is an absolute must. Especially when you have dogs who like to get in the mud and the water anytime they can find it!
  • Thunder Shirt – we have this in multiple sizes so multiple dogs can have one when needed. The thunder shirt is great for thunderstorms and the 4th of July. It even has a spot on it specifically for putting any sort of spray or oil that can aid in calming your dog down. Please make sure any item you add here is dog safe!
  • Tumbler with Detachable Bowl – one of our most used products! This is great for long trips in the car, hikes, trips to the dog park, walks around the neighborhood, days out at the ballpark, whatever your schedule may include! The tumbler holds water and the bottom detaches as a water bowl for your dog!
  • Dog Stroller – My absolute best dog purchase to date! I have used this stroller for an extremely shy rescue dog, a senior dog who couldn’t keep up, and to transport my littles to the vet together. I’ve even used it for our kittens before! This stroller is amazing, I can’t say enough good things. You can zip entirely closed so shy dogs have privacy, there are cup holders, a storage unit underneath for leashes, poop bags, water bowls, a purse, whatever else you may need, and it has a weight recommendation of 25lbs.
  • Portable Mesh Pen – I love this thing. I have used it to sleep train almost all of our dogs (Aria got to come straight to bed 🙂 ). It is extremely portable. I have even brought this to the park when we had 5 dogs that included a senior dog + an extremely shy rescue dog. The top zips off so dogs can still feel like they’re a part of the room/activity. Leave the top on if dogs need shade and/or more privacy. It’s easy to clean and has great air flow if you’re using it outside! I have also used a portable pen when traveling to a hotel or someone else’s house with my dogs. You definitely need this! These are available in multiple sizes as well to accommodate whatever size dog you have. We have a small one and a large one.
  • Dog Gate (Indoor) – I don’t know how we would survive without gates in our house! This specific one is great because it has a little kitty door in the bottom. So we can open that while the gate is shut to allow cats in a room we don’t want the dogs in! We use this when cooking a lot. Bodhi is a counter surfer! We also have a gate up to rooms the cat’s litterboxes are in. Life savers!
